About

As a twenty-something born in London and schooled both there and in New York, it’s safe to say I’ve had a variety of experiences whilst growing up. I’m creative, far too imaginative for my own good and have an underlying passion for all things produced for theatre or for the screen.  I’ve been writing since before my teen years and have a vast backlog of work – ranging from poetry to prose, from short film scripts to full-length theatre scripts, from articles to blogs – most of which you’ll find located on this site.

After studying Psychology at Royal Holloway (University of London), I flew off to study at the New York Film Academy to follow my passion; acting. After an eventful year abroad (of which the results can be seen in the ‘Film‘ and ‘Theatre‘ sections of the site), I returned to London to take up full time employment and set up our production company, Foolhardy.

Having worked part time as a chat moderator throughout university, I was able to find employment looking after the online community for a number of websites owned by Associated Northcliffe Digital. From there, I moved to FreshNetworks for a temporary stint as a Community Manager, before freelancing for whomever I could.

Our production company Foolhardy was born in the first quarter of 2008 (with the help of my very good friend Sarah Evans) out of a love for writing, acting, directing and producing work from scratch. Through sheer hard work, dedication and talent, Foolhardy was able to cast, market, write, produce and direct two theatrical shows in 2008, one of which toured for nearly a month on two different continents. We’ve taken a break in 2009 and hope to get the magic back alive for 2010.

In the spring of 2009, I was employed by Zath to join their awesome team of freelance writers to add to the selection of tech/internet/gaming/film bloggers/reviewers and have enjoyed every minute of it since! I promise I didn’t get paid to write that ;)

I’m definitely a busy bee and am always looking for people to create new and exciting projects/pieces with, so if you think you fall into this category please get in touch; I’d love to hear from you.
