I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember and started off with poetry and short stories before moving onto more meatier works, like film/theatre scripts and articles/reviews. Most of my penned work can be located on this site.
My first real script that was used was for Percy The Chicken back in 2003. An animated cartoon site based around the adventures of a chicken and a donkey dragon. Yes, it’s weird, but imaginative. I wrote the episode for Halloween as a special edition and you can view it here.
Everything in between 2003 and 2007 is simply my mind in print.
2007 saw rise to two plays that I wrote – Misfit Madness and Liink and Zellda: The Misadventure – that were then subsequently produced into shows for the theatre by Foolhardy, for release in the summer of 2008.
In the early part of 2008, I assisted my brother (Maninder Obhrai) and helped him edit his short story compilation, ‘False Memory: 15 Stories That I Think Are Actually True‘.
In the early part of 2009, I was hired by Zath to write articles and reviews both professionally and on a freelance basis – covering games, films and tech-related items.
2010 has seen the rise of writing for me, with more professional work coming my way. I’ll also soon be blogging for Money Saving Spy.
There are many plays/short films in my back catalogue. If they’re not already produced works and you can’t get access to them, then they’re not on the site for obvious copyright reasons. If you’d like to know more about the things I’m working on – or would like to read any – please get in touch and I’d be happy to show you the things my brain gets up to. I aim to get more of my writing shown to the public, but as we all know, these things cost money – and money is hard to come by
I hope to not only write more blogs, secure more writing gigs, but I also hope to pen another two plays this year. Watch this space for more updates…
It is because of you that I continue to find the inspiration to write. Thank you for reading.
